The chameleon droid, a modified version of the old spelunker droids,
is upgraded with an adaptive camouflage that mimics the surrounding
terrain. It was developed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems
for reconnaissance and sabotage missions; these two are the survivors
of one such assignment that pitted them against the Jedi temple on
Ilum.
